Schisandra (Magnolia Vine)

Schisandra species offered here are deciduous climbers with decorative, heartshaped or oval foliage and bright colored berries arranged in dense clusters which last until midwinter. Plants are best grown in any humus rich, well drained soil in a partially shaded to sunny spot.
Sow seeds flat in any rich, well drained soil. Keep pots in a protected spot outside in winter. Transplant young plants as soon as they are strong enough.
