Mandevilla (Brazilian Jasmine) & Stephanotis (Madagascar Jasmine)

Brazilian Jasmine and Madagascar Jasmine are either climbers or erect shrubs to small trees from Asia and South America (Mandevilla spp.), respectively Madagascar (Stephanotis spp.). They make very robust, leathery foliage and numerous clusters of heavily sweet fragrant flowers throughout the summer. For any well drained soil, keep partially shaded to sunny. Keep at a minimum of some 10°C in winter in a sunny position and water only sprodically.
Sow at a minimum of some 20°C throughout the year in any rich, well drained soil in full sun to partial shade.
All are USDA Climate Zone 10.

Stephanotis floribunda (Madagascar Jasmine)

150 (500)cm, Madagascar Jasmine is an evergreen climber from Madagascar with slightly glossy, leathery leaves and axillary dense clusters of white, intensively sweet fragrant flowers. Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained substrate in full sun throughout the year. In winter keep plants slightly drier at a minimum of some 10°C. VI-IX.
