Penstemon griffinii (Griffin's Beardtongue)

30cm, Griffin's Beardtongue makes a basal, bluish green leaf rosette and upright, elegant spikes with sky blue to lavender blue flowers. Native of mountainous regions from the Rocky Mountains to New Mexico and N Arizona. For any rich, very well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. VI-VIII.
