150 (200)cm, an impressivley tall perennial species with large feathered leaves in a basal rosette and upright stalks crowned by showy dark wine-red flower heads. Native of mountainous meadows in the Carpathians (Romania). Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in full sun. VI-VII.10 seeds per package.
