100 (150)cm, California Shrub Mallow is a semi-evergreen shrub like species with showy, intense dark pink flowers with violet stripes and palmate, mid green to grayish-green leaves on gray stems. Native of western USA (California region) growing in open, sandy to rocky places. As his species is not reliably winter hardy it is best grown under frostfree conditions throughout the year.
