Lavatera oblongifolia
100 (170)cm, a semi-woody perennial with showy bright rose flowers and unusual, broad laneceolate, hairy leaves on uright stems branching from a woody base. It is native of open sunny places in southern Spain (regions of Almeria and Granada). Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny and protected spot. VII-VIII.
