4 (7)m, Chinaberry Tree is an ornamental deciduous, medium sized tree with an open crown, broadly feathered dark green leaves and terminal, pendulous clusters of pale lilac or white, strongly fragrant flower stars followed by ornamental, bright yellow, round fruits (poisonous!) from late summer through early winter. For any rich, well drained soil in a protected spot outside in the garden or in colder regions as a container plant under frost free conditions throughout the year with reduced watering in winter and a minimum of some 5°C.
