| 10 (20)cm, Kopet Dag Oregano, sometimes wrongly spelled "kopetelaghense", is a rare species native of rock crevices on the Kopet Dag mountain in Eastern Turkey and further to Turkmenistan. Makes flat mats of small oval, glossy green, aromatic leaves and terminal, branching, filigree spikes with pure white, small flowers in late summer.
