70 (180)cm, the only Pericallis endemic to Madeira where it occurs in rich, slightly moist soils from the upper succulent zone to the lower subalpine zone at some 1.600m. A semiperennial with a very ornamental, broad inflorescence of pink to rose-purple flowers above dark green leaves covered with short silvery hairs. For any rich, well drained substrate in a partially shaded spot. Keep sunnier in winter at min. 10°C. USDA Climate Zone 10. VII-IX.
