15 (30)cm, makes showy pale magenta to brownish-orange flower cups with purplish and yellow stripes. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Requires a good winter protection (i.e. dry mulch layer). Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden with reduced watering and a winter minimum of some 5°C.
