Romulea setifolia var. setifolia
10 (15)cm, makes yellow to apricot flower cups. It is native of sandy flats from Bokkeveld Mountains and western Karoo to Port Elizabeth. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Requires a good winter protection (i.e. dry mulch layer). Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden with reduced watering and a winter minimum of some 5°C. VII-VIII.
