Viola acuminata
15 (20)cm, a rarely cultivated perennial species with showy white, sky blue or bicolored flowers above broadly arrow shaped light green leaves. Native of rich, slightly moist soils in mountainous meadows and alongside streams in Eastern Asia and Japan. For any humus rich, slightly moist, well drained soil in a partially shaded to sunny spot. IV-V.
