| 50 (90)cm, a medium sized, very ornamental Watsonia species with orange to orange red flowers. For any well drained soil in full sun in the open garden with some excellent winter protection provided (e. g. a thick dry mulch layer). Alternatively grow under frostfree conditions in an unheated greenhouse or coo, wintergarden in a sunny spot. In winter keep plants slightly drier at a minimum of some 10°C. USDA Climate Zone 7/8.
