Mentha aquatica (Water Mint)

20 (40)cm, Water Mint is a herbaceous to semi-evergreen Eurasian perennial with strongly fragrant and aromatic leaves which may be used either fresh or dried in the preparation of refreshing teas and are used as well for the medical properties. It has dense, short racemes of small pink flowers. Easily grown in any humus rich, always slightly moist soil in a sunny spot. Excellent at the edge of a pond or watercourse. VI-VIII.
