Sisyrinchium idahoense (Idaho Blue-Eyed Grass)

20cm, Idaho Blue-Eyed Grass is a short lived dwarf perennial with lilac blue flowers with a golden yellow throat above grass like leaves. It is native of mountain meadows from British Columbia south to California. For any humus rich, very well drained soil in a sunny spot. Will readily self sow under appropriate conditions. V-VI.
