80cm, Kantakari, a slightly woody semiperennial with large, broadly dissected leaves on spiny stems and white flowers followed by yellowish green mottled fruits (not edible) in early autumn. Native to Malaysia, India and tropical Australia. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. VI-VII.
