Tanacetum cinerariifolium (Dalmatian Chrysanthemum)

80cm, Dalmatian Chrysanthemum makes finely cut, greyish-green leaves on tall stalks crowned by white daisy-like flowers. Native of meadows and open spots in woodlands in the Balkans. This plant is the natural source for a well-known insecticide (Pyrethrum). Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. V-VI.
