Brachychiton populneus (Kurrajong Bottle Tree)

3 (20)m, Kurrajong Bottle Tree is an evergreen tree from eastern Australia with slightly shiny, dark green, leathery foliage and terminal racemes with whitish flowers with dark rose spots inside. With age plants develop a caudex stem. Easily grown in containers in any rich, well drained substrate and a sunny spot. In winter keep plants in full sun and drier at a minimum of some 10°C.
