Brachychiton discolor (Lacebark Bottle Tree)

3 (20)m, Lacebark Bottle Tree is a deciduous to half-evergreen tree with broadly lobed, dark green, pubescent foliage and bell-shaped rosy-red flowers in short terminal clusters. With age plants develop a broad caudex stem. Easily grown in containers in any rich, well drained substrate and a sunny spot. In winter keep plants in full sun and drier at a minimum of some 10°C.
