Ipomoea aquatica (Water Spinach)

3 (5)m, Water Spinach or Water Morning Glory is a fast growing perennial species from wetlands in South East Asia. It produces edible shoots, which can be eaten as a vegetable either raw or cooked and which are widlely used in Asian dishes. Easily grown in any rich and always very wet soil at a minimum of some 20°C throughout the year and in full sun. Seeds are from a pure white flowering form from Thailand. IV-VII.
