Solanum muricatum (Pepino Melon)

50 (100)cm, Pepino Melon makes pale mauve flowers followed by egg-sized pale cream-yellow fruits with an aromatic, honeymelon like fruit-pulp. Grows as a short-stemmed perennial. For any rich soil in a sunny spot throughout the year with a winter minimum of some 15°C.
