30 (50)cm ø, naturally occurs on rocky slopes and open, sunny spots in pine and juniper woodlands of Arizona. Makes narrow, dark green leaves, with brown, smooth margins with white, thread-like fibers and a terminal blackish brown spine. USDA Climate Zone 10.
