Cyperus capitatus

30cm, native of sand dunes in the vicinity of the sea throughout the Mediterranean region. It makes showy bluish-green, narrow basal leaves and an upright hold stem with a bright brown infloscence. For any rich sandy, very well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep rather dry at a minimum of some 5°C. IV-VIII.
