Iochroma fuchsioides (Red Violet Shrub)

200 (400)cm, Red Violet Shrub is a floriferous species native from Colombia and Ecuador. Iochroma fuchsioides produces numerous bright red tubular flowers. In time it will grow to a tall open shrub, which can be pruned in spring. An ideal container plant for any humus rich soil in a sunny spot. In winter keep cooler, yet frostfree, in full sun and with reduced watering. VI-IX.
