Penstemon pachyphyllus (Thickleaf Beardtongue)

70cm, Thickleaf Beardtongue grows as a perennial with slightly succulent, bluish green leaves in a basal rosette and erect stems with sky blue to lavender flower trumpets. It is native of western USA. For any rich, well drained, preferably rocky soil in full sun. VI-VII.
