Ceropegia hians var. hians

30 (50)cm, a most ornamental succulent species with upright hold, whitish stems crowned by terminal and axillary clusters of rich yellow flowers with an orange red base. Three varieties are known: var. hians from the Fuencaliente region in southern La Palma, var. striata in western and central La Palma (Barranco de Las Angustias) and a still undescribed, taller variety with narrower, whitish green stems from coastal areas in the North. Easily grown in any rich, very well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep drier at a minimum of some 15°C in full sun. VI-VIII.
