40 (120)cm, Australian Hill Hibiscus is a rarely cultivated small Hibiscus species with a somewhat prostate habit and pale rose flowers above showy whitish to silvery-green, finely pubescent leaves. The variety Hibiscus sturtii var. platychlamys is native of dryish soil in dry shrub formations in Western Australia, northern Central Australia and North Australia. For any rich, very well drained substrate in full sun throughout the year and watering reduced to a minimum in winter at a minimum of 20°C. V-VIII.
