Penstemon leonardii is a medium tall species with a basal leaf rosette from which emerge several rich blue flower spikes. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Cache County, Utah, USA, at an altitude of some 3.000m. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Excellent in a protected spot in the rock garden. VI-VIII.
