Erythrina latissima (Broad leaved Coral Tree)

3 (10)m, Broad leaved Coral Tree is a South African species with several rather flat, bright orange red flower heads before the broad and slightly pubecent leaves emerge. Erythrina latissima grows very, very slowly and will easily fit for many year into a pot and later into a container. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot in summer. In winter keep almost completely dry at a minimum of some 10°C. VII-IX.
