Libertia ixioides (New Zealand Mikoikoi)

40 (70)cm, New Zealand Mikoikoi makes dense tufts of narrow, grass-like leaves and several upright stalks with white flowers. For any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny, protected spot in the garden. Give a thick dry mulch layer in winter or cultivate in pots under frostfree conditions in colder climates with reduced watering in winter at a minimum of some 10°C VI-VII.
