120 (160)cm, Black Perl Millet is an extremely beautiful color variant from the bluish-green common species. It has dark reddish-brown, almost black leaves, stems and inflorescences. As the species it is a fast growing annual with dense candel-like spikes in late summer and autumn. Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in full sun. Sow directly to the ground after the last freezing nights in late spring or early summer. VII-X.
