80 (110)cm, Prairie Blazing Star makes showy upright tall stalks with elongated bright pink flower clusters above a basal rosette of narrow, grass-like leaves. It is native of prairies in central and southern USA. For any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. VI-VII.
