Fritillaria camschatcensis (Kamchatka Fritillary)

30 (60)cm Kamchatka Fritillary is a showy species with chocolate purple flowers on tall stems with lanceolate glossy leaves arranged in whorls. It is native of open spots in woods and mountainous meadows with a disjunct distribution in north-western North America and north-eastern Asia.
