Fritillaria atropurpurea (Spotted Fritillary)

30 (60)cm, Spotted Fritillary is a North American species from the western USA. It makes yellowish or yellowish-cream, nodding flower bells which are heavily dark purple-brown mottled. For any humus rich, very well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded and protected spot. IV-V.
