Dipsacus fullonum (syn. D. sylvestris)

200 (300)cm, very decorative plant which attracts masses of bees and butterflies. Opposite pairs of stem leaves are joined together forming a cup in which water collects and thus repels insects. Excellent for dried flower arrangements. VI-VIII.
