25 (30)cm, Black Rampion is a herbaceous perennial with narrow, lanceolate leaves and upright stems crowned by a dark violet spikes. Native of open spots in woods in Central Europe. For any rich, well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Excellent in the rock garden. V-VI.
