Papaver heterophyllum (Californian Wind Poppy)

30 (50)cm, Californian Wind Poppy (syn. Stylomecon heterophylla) is a rather rarel culitvated annual from California and adjacent areas. Papaver heterophyllum makes utmost showy, intense orange-red flowers above finely cut foliage. A beautiful dwarf member of the Papaveraceae which is easily grown in any rich, slightly moist soil in preferably partial shade. Will readily selfsow under appropriate conditions. IV-V.
