140 (180)cm, False Hellebore makes a tall stem above showy, very broad and long, fresh green leaves with prominent veins and numerous, quite large, greenish white star flowers. It is native of semi-moist high mountain meadows in N USA. For any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. Note: All parts are poisonous if ingested. VII-VIII.
