Verbascum densiflorum (Large Flowered Mullein)

170 (220)cm, Large Flowered Mullein makes a tall, slightly branching stem with densely white pubescent leaves and large bright yellow flowers. Differs from the very similar Verbascum speciosum by a leaf's base which slightly surrounds the stem like a wing, in Verbascum speciosum the leaves are attached to the stem only. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. VI-VIII.
