Solanum atropurpureum (Purple Spined Nightshade)

120cm, Purple Spined Nightshade is an erect perennial with showy purple spines on the stems and pale yellow flowers followed by green fruits (toxic), maturing to a bright orange color. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Grow as a pot plant. Keep cooler at a minimum of 15°C in a sunny spot in winter, reduce watering. VI-VIII.
