Pastinaca lucida (Mallorca Parsnip)

50 (100)cm, Mallorca Parsnip is a herbaceous, summer dormant perennial with large glossy, foetid leaves and branching stalks topped by umbels wiht small greenish-yellow flowers. From fresh spots at the base of rock walls on Mallorca (Balearics, Spain). For any humus rich, well drained, slightly moist soil in a partially shaded (summer) to sunny (winter) spot. Not winter hardy, keep plants drier in winter at a minimum of some 5°C. V-VII.
