200 (500)m, Atlantic Bladder Shrub is a tall woody, deciduous shrub with dark green feathered leaves, bright yellow flowers and unusual, inflated, translucent and rosy-red shaded, papery seed pods. This subspecies is native of south-western Spain, Portugal and North-western Africa. For any rich, well drained soil in full sun and a pereferably protected spot. V-VI.
