Gentiana gracilipes

20 (35)cm, a rarely seen perennial species with dense terminal clusters of bright blue flowers with a white throat on arching stems with lanceolate leaves. Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in full sun. Excellent in the rock garden. VI-VII.
