Lobelia spicata (Pale-Spiked Lobelia)

35 (60)cm, Pale-Spiked Lobelia is a showy biannual to short-lived perennial with loosely arranged pale lavender-rose flowers. It is native of rich, slightly moist soils in meadows and woods, throught central, southern and eastern USA. For any humus rich, preferably slightly moist soil in a sunny to partially shaded position. Will readily self-sow under good conditions. VII-IX.
