Oxytropis parryi (Parry's Locoweed)

25cm, Parry's Locoweed a smaller Oxytropis species with a dense cushion of small feathered, greyish-green, hairy leaves and ornamental purplish-lavender flowers heads. For any rich, well drained and rather rocky soil in a protected spot in full sun. An excellent plant for the rock garden. In wetter areas preferably grow under cold glass with protection from excessive winter wetness. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Park County, Colorado, USA, at some 3.750m. VI-VIII.
