Passiflora suberosa

2 (5)m, a smaller species from northern South America to Guatemala. It makes small, dark green, trilobed leaves and small whitish-green flowers followed by pea-sized black round fruits. Passiflora suberosa is fully self-fertile and readily sets fruits. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep drier in full sun at a minimum of some 15°C. V-IX.
