Thymus mastichina (Spanish Mastix Thyme)

25 (40)cm, Spanish Mastix Thyme is a perennial species from southern Spain and has greenish-grey small leaves and greenish-white miniature flowers. The essential Mastix oil is extracted from the leaves and is used in the perfume industry. For any humus rich, very well drained soil in a sunny and protected spot. An excellent plant for the rock garden. VI-VII.
