140 (180)cm, Iranian Jerusalem Sage is a beautiful tall perennial with a dense basal rosette of broad arrow-shaped, greyish-green leaves and upright, slightly branching stalks with 4 to 7 dense whorls of quite large, rich rose flowers. Dry stalks with seed capsules are ornamental and may be used in dry flower arrangements. It is native of open, dryish spots in mountainous regions from Southern Europe through Iran. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in full sun. VI-VII. 20 seeds per package.
