Sideritis candicans var. candicans

50 (100)cm, a perennial with woody stems covered with ornamental silvery-grey foliage and terminal racemes with pale yellowish-white flowers. Native of open spots in central Madeira (Portugal). For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep plants slightly drier at a minimum of some 10°C. VI-VII.
