Allium lemmonii (Lemmon's Onion)

20cm, Lemmon's Onion is native to mountainous regions in the western United States. Makes a nice umbel of bright rose to rarely white flowers on a medium tall stalk. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Doyle Crossing, Plumas County, California, USA at some 1.700m. For any rich, very well drained soil in a sunny spot. Excellent in the rock garden. VI-VII.
